Arif, a cameraman, was killed in a suicide bombing at alocal hospital, news reports said. The blast occurred outside the emergencyward of Civil Hospital in Quetta, capital of restive Baluchistan province,killing at least eight people and injuring numerous others, including fivejournalists. The journalists were covering a Shia demonstration outside thehospital, where a prominent local Shia bank manager had been taken after anattack.
